Nipple Piercings.
I wrote an entry yesterday, which will probably end up being a weekly occurrence, and within that entry I wrote about how my nipple rings always end up with crusty puss on them.
For the record, it isn’t as bad as I made it to sound. Yes, there is dried puss on my nipple rings, but it isn’t a substantial amount. However, there’s enough to make me shudder at the thought of anyone (Johnny) taking my nipple rings into their mouth. Any amount of puss going into a mouth is disgusting. So, naturally, it’s a big deal to me that my nipples still puss after having them pierced for nearly 6 months.
(I’m pretty sure "puss" has only one s, but "pus" looks weird to me. They both do, but I’m going with two s’s for my own pleasure.)
I decided to look up why they could be pussing, because as I previously mentioned, I keep them very clean. Another person mentioned in a comment that they wanted their nipples pierced, but was talked out of it. So, I’m going to go into that as well.
First of all, my nipples still puss a little bit because they aren’t fully healed yet. They aren’t infected, they don’t hurt, there is just one small issue as to why they haven’t healed yet. And yes, it is my fault.
See, when I got my nipples pierced, the jewelery they gave me was a little too big for my liking; it got pulled around too easily and caused more pain than I would have liked. So, stupidly, I decided to change the rings. Yes, it made the pain go away. Maybe that was a good thing for a little while, but the fact that I didn’t put the larger rings back in made the healing process slow down a great amount. My nipples need the larger ring to heal correctly.
The reason why my nipples puss is because my jewelery is too small. There we have it!
Also, there are a lot of mixed "reviews" on getting your nipples pierced. Some like it, some love it, and some hate it. Personally, the only thing that kept me from getting my nipples pierced was breastfeeding. I’m not pregnant, I don’t have a baby, but someday I would like to have a child, and breastfeeding is definitely something I plan on doing with my children. I heard that if you get your nipples pierced, it can cause breastfeeding to be a lot harder or could actually keep you from being able to. I looked into it, and it’s not true at all. All you have to do is take your jewelery out when feeding. Obviously.
There are many issues people can get from piercing their nipples, however, those problems only come up because of improperly taking care of them. Now that I know that the reason my nipples still puss is my fault, and my fault alone, I have zero regrets.
Yes, it hurt when I got them pierced. Actually, it hurt quite a bit, but the pain didn’t last more than 5 minutes. (The following day, I got my industrial done, which is a bar through the upper part of the ear, and that hurt so much more than my nipple piercings.) Also, my right nipple bled quite a bit, but that’s only because I have a blood disorder, and I bleed quite a bit more than the normal person.
Initially, the healing process was a little painful. Not as painful as I thought they would be, but painful nonetheless. If you’re solely a belly-sleeper, I do not recommend piercing your nipples. For a while, forget sleeping on your stomach because you won’t be able to for at least a week. Also, during intimate moments, you probably will have to keep a bra on because the "bouncing around" will cause pain. However, if your tits are safely tucked away in your bra, you’ll be good.
I recommend looking online for ways to treat your piercings. The piercers do a good job telling you what to do, but going online, you often can find testimonies from other people and learn from their mistakes.
So, really, the horror stories you hear about nipple piercings (or any other piercings for that matter) are solely because people didn’t take care of their piercings correctly.
I say, if you want it, go for it.
Love, love your enteries! thanks for your notes 🙂 I’ll definately be checking out your diary too!
