My Hanukka presents arrived this week…two dvds from my uncle, and from my sister and brother in law; a cooling pad for my laptop, “We the living”(by Ayn Rand) and “Cryptonomicon”(by Neal Stephenson).

RYN: I have been to Israel. And because I am Jewish, I can say with no uncertainty (or fear of being labeled antisemetic) that Israeli terrorism is just as bad as Palestinian terrorism. Don’t get caught up in the media hype of the “Israeli citizens struggle against Palestinian terrorists.” The names alone are biased. Learn your history and what is right and wrong.

FYI: That entry you criticized about is not a one person testimony. It was well documented by numerous people and even caught on tape. It is not an attempt to make Israelis look bad. It’s the truth. And truthfully, I am not sad that Yasser Arafat is dead (in case you think I’m JUST a Palestinian sympathizer.) I just hope Ariel Sharon joins him next. They BOTH are/were terrorists.

Ayn Rand is always great, but Cryptonomicon is unbelievable. Unfortunately, I needed a dictionary to read it. What can I say? I prefer Hemmingway. 🙂
