Why can’t it just go away…?

Why won’t this whole situation just disolve by itself? The married guy told me today that that was a day he’ll never ever forget…I don’t know if he meant it in a negative or positive way and I don’t know why he had to say it to me…but he did…and now I can start dwelling on this crap all over again…
