my pathetic saturday night

Okay. Hows this for pathetic? tonight i’m going out to dinner and a movie…with my parents. they’re seeing a chick flick so i’m going to go with them. i know. i know. my boyfriend has this habit of not picking up the phone when he wants to get to play video games with his friends. i have to go. sorry. just wanted to check in.
Okay, think about this…in comparison. Your Saturday night is only as pathetic as you think it is. Now, what is really pathetic is going to a party where people don’t dance, but stare at each other across the room, and drink heavily. Guys spill their beer on your shirt to feel you up, or they vomit on your shoes. Your Saturday night is hardly pathetic. 🙂

Sometimes it’s good to have some quality time with the parents. If that’s not what you want, I guess you should just get out there and find some adventure or something. I tend to look for my adventure in the nearest book store, but whatever works for you, you know?
