Inaugural Award Time!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I give you the first, ever:
**ASSHOLE AWARD**
Now, those of you who know me, know that I would NEVER use this term lightly. But this jerk-off did something that was SO rude, it inspired me to create this award. Now, you might say, "Jess, you’re just being a bit unreasonable. Perhaps a wee oversensitive. Need we remind you of what happened only a few weeks ago that broke your heart? Now, let’s hear the story because you might just be making a mountain out of a molehill." To that, I give you this:
I was walking back from the grocery store on my mini-lunch break. I had bags in my hand and was following this couple that was all decked out in workout clothes, ready to hit the gym in my complex. I split from them to go toward the building a different way, and met up with them again as we approached the door. It is at this point that I was coming toward them from the FRONT – no longer following them. They get to the door and the guy opens and holds it for his girlfriend. Right about the time she walks through, I get to the door. What does the guy do? He looks at me, walks through, and lets the door shut right in my face.
So, to him, I say:
Sir,
Yeah, I’d say that qualifies.
Warning Comment
I’ve seen that happen and it make me frustrated with people. I held a door for someone else once and he spat on my shoes, I couldn’t believe it. Well done, I second that asshole award notion.

Warning Comment
that’s when i yell “thank you!” really loud and make them feel like the assholes they are.
