another dream
I wanted to see you, knowing you were indifferent. You had been staying at my friends house while they were gone. The house was huge. I went and sat on the front porch looking out at the luscious grounds. The house was italian style, with pillars on either side of the steps. Wild vines with beautiful flowers crept up them. A stepping stone path led to the porch. I was reminiscing about how I met you.
I knew my friend that had lent you the place was still in town. His family had gone on vacation, but he stayed. I decided he was my only hope in getting in and seeing you. I called him with a plan. We were going to get some of his things and I was to introduce you. We knocked on the door and one of your friends opened. He welcomed us in and told me where to find you. When we walked in I couldn’t muster the strength to approach you. I walked around purposefully avoiding you. As night approached, more people showed. You were hosting a party on the top floor in a different wing of the house. I decided that this would be where we ran into each other. As I walked around I still wasn’t sure how you would feel about seeing me. I spotted you sitting on the couch, I watched for a minute. Then the cops came to break up the party. You walked down the hall calmly escaping the raid. I followed you, when you stopped, I put my arms around your waist and turned you toward me. I pulled you in to me and felt your arms around me. You looked at me with a broad smile on your face and we both knew that everything would be ok.
