Ironies in life

I was on my way to a peaceful sleep… and as usual my brain starts going 90 to nothing.

I was thinking about childhood friends that I have recently reacquainted with. The ones that had it together. The ones that were going to do something big. Me, on the other hand, I was on a one way path of destruction… no goals, no ambitions, just living life in the moment. I was the one that was going nowhere.

Now, all of the girls I knew in Jr. High and high school are all stay at home moms… and I am a teacher. I applaud them for being that… it’s just funny how life works out. Out of all the recklessness and disregard for life I never expected to be where I am today! Funny how life works out!
