Odd events – I’m back

Last entry it was 8 yrs ago- titled love hurts. Wow I was in a bad unhealthy marriage that I stuck out for 13 years and didn’t get divorced till 2013. I’m glad I got out of a bad marriage – girls what ever you do don’t ever let a man tear down your worth, respect and divinity. I will never look back.

Moving to the present day I am remarried to a wonderful man, i am very happy. We had gotten a free orange tabby at the pet store for “ free “ but I paid a donation for him. Tucker was ok for a couple of years and he started to develop bad habits – peeing in the sink/ bathtub/ boxes. I had him checked at the vet and had blood panel done on him negative for diabetes – he was overweight 17 lbs. then he was demanding more attention than I could give him. My husband thought it would be best to find him a “good home”- all of us want our babies to be loved and happy, the events to follow is just bizarre.

March 31, I saw a post on Facebook about a cat found wandering outside. I saw the pic and I showed to my hubby, that looks like our old cat. But in the pic he was huge 20+ lbs. I asked the lady to check his paws (since he is front paw declawed). She said she went outside and he was gone – it was in the 40’s and raining. The next morning he was back and again I asked to check his paws. Yes he’s declawed but I’m on my way to the shelter. I said “stop, I will meet you and take him”. A few minutes later met her and saw ….my old cat , it was him!! I started bawling – how could someone just drop him off and abandon him. I felt guilty . I messaged the girl that I had given him to and asked if she still had tucker.  She responded yes up until 2 days ago- she had given him away to a person who lives on a farm. Which is a lie. I never said I have him back. Just bizarre things don’t happen like this – fate?

That’s just horrible!  How can people do that and still live with themselves?
