So is this an official NoJoMo time? If it is I think I might participate. So this might count as a first entry for that, though I don’t really have a lot of time to write right now. A short update:

• Job shadowing didn’t go well. It turned out to be some canvassing position, and I don’t have the kind of personality that lets me ask people for money in a thousand different ways, no matter how much they refuse.
• Been applying for jobs like crazy. This is dumb. I’m wondering if I should try the Peace Corps thing again, or moving away again after this year. We’ll see how that goes.
• Went to a Halloween party last night dressed as a banana. Hijinx (sp?) ensued.
• Noah dumped me (via text!) while I was at the party. He apparently doesn’t have any time for anyone else in his life right now. There are a million different things I could say about this, but I’ll refrain. My mission today has been trying to keep myself distracted.
• T-shirts that have stuff on the back but are bare on the front drive me CRAZY.
• My cord for my laptop was broken, but I ordered a new one in the mail. I haven’t been back to the apartment yet so I’m not sure if it works, but I hope it does! I loves me some laptop.
• I carved a pumpkin the other day. It’s the first one I’ve carved in years, and is pretty charming. A pic of it might show up later.
• The election is only 3 days away! Holy crap. I am doing some kind of volunteering on election day. I will either be calling Obama supporters encouraging them to vote, or will be a poll worker if one of the people that are scheduled to do it drops out.

Bleh, enough for now. I’ve got break-up blues! Lame.
