Can Spermicide make you go Numb?

When my boyfriend and I use condoms that have spermicide after a while he says that his penis goes numb. It happens to me sometimes too, but not as quickly as it does with him. Is that a normal reaction to spermicide?

I’m not sure how noraml it is to go numb from spermicide, but I do know that it can and does happen. I have had it happen to me a few times, not many but enough. Also if you would give a guy a blowjob with one on your mouth will kind of go numb as well. It is a weird feeling, but it does happen. 🙂 Don’t worry to much about it, now if it keeps happening so that you can have your fun, then you may want to change condoms. Don’t need to go numb everytime you have sex. If it happens once in a while that is ok, but even if that is annying for you just change condoms and you should be ok. Hope this helps. Take Care!
