And I’m back…

Didn’t really mean to take October off. Things just got kind of busy, didn’t have a lot to say, then when I did the frakking site was down. Dang it.

So I’m unofficially doing NoJoMo this year, gonna give it a shot anyway.

And right now, before I go to try and cook my half-frozen hamburger meat for dinner, I am going to say that I really, truly, hate having to work the first night of the month. Not sure about the rest of the United States (and I have no clue about other countries) but in Georgia the state benefits all drop at 12:01 AM on the first, meaning we were covered over today with WIC and SNAP shoppers in addition to the start of the holiday shopping. OMG, we were so not ready for that. OK, my areas were ready, but the cashiers weren’t.

Whatever. That’ll be someone else’s butt in a sling when the phone calls start hitting the 1-800 number.
