[M] Another one bites the dust

Had an employee taken away in handcuffs yesterday while I was off. He sold a Visa Gift Card to a customer but gave them an un-activated one and pocketed the real one. If he’d just gone to another store to use it he’d have never been caught, we would have just assumed a mistake was made and the customer got their cards confused and taken care of them. Nope, used it at our store, so of course we pulled up the tape. Idiot.

Had the kids yesterday, that was fun. Went into town so D could spend his Walmart gift card after Critter got off work, and that wasn’t as much fun. Critter told him before we left that she had to buy groceries too, but he was ready to go as soon as he got his game. The boy seems to have an attention span of about three minutes.

Here’s a classic example of what Critter has to put up with every day though: after we were done with the grocery shopping I told Critter I’d take D & K out to the car and get I warmed up. When we got out there I took D to task for antagonizing his sisters the whole time we were in the store. He said, "I wasn’t antagonizing both of them, just B. What’s ‘antagonizing’ mean?"

I told Critter I couldn’t find a circus to sell them (the kids) to but there was a carnival that would give us twenty dollars a head if we would deliver… 😉
