Friend Time! Woohoo!

I get to see AmandaC today! I’ve got to run up and get her but we’ll be hanging out while her husband is at work. Nifty. She’s also OK with the clothing optional thing now, and may decide to join in at some point, so that’s cool too.

Had to work yesterday. It wasn’t too bad. I had to tell one of my employees why he wasn’t getting promoted this time around or anytime in the foreseeable future. He just has problems taking direction, and if you want him to do something he doesn’t agree with then he turns into a right little demon.

There may be something going on with Critter, but I’m not sure. I’ll see her for a bit today when I pick up my camera. My parents want me to take pictures of their driveway before they mail the contractor the second check. There was a big dip in it at the base of the hill (you actually had to drive down below the level of the road before you started up to the house) and they were going to have it filled in. I think they were talking about leveling off the top of the driveway (it’s graded to drain towards the house right now, brilliant) and using that as the fill but I don’t know if they did or not. My dad wants to build a garage up there when they get the house paid off. I think he’s going to have it built of traditional materials but put log siding up to make it match the house.

Ember’s still trying to deal with TacoBoy’s crap. I take it from her last entry that he moved out. I haven’t talked to her directly. She hasn’t called or sent a text and I don’t want to push too much. I’ve told her I’m there for her, anything she needs.

Nay is going all Emo on us. You should see his Facebook and MySpace updates. I don’t know if he’s having troubles with Rah-Rah (they’ve been dating/boinking/whatever for a while now) or if he’s crushing on Ember. I think he had the hots for her back in high school or something, but I don’t know.

Sammie is no longer in the Navy, about to be a father, and trying to find a job and a place to live out near Seattle, WA. Not really his choice on where to settle since his car broke pretty badly shortly after the Navy separated their relationship and that’s where he was stationed. From what I understand his baby-momma used to work on a cruise ship before she got pregnant, so I can imagine that their rare times together on shore (he was a submariner) didn’t involve a lot of talking or getting to know each other, leading to his current difficulties with her. He’s trying to work it out, so we’ll see.

Well, that’s about all I have for now. I’ve got to get the apartment swept and dishes done so I can run out the door at one or so and be on-time to pick up AmandaC at two.
