Just Stuff

Saw my parents today. Got roped into moving their bedroom for them. And of course when winter comes again we’ll have to move it again. I tried to tell them…

Saw Critter briefly, got a giant hug out of it. She said she wanted to talk to me so badly yesterday but didn’t want to call me since she was with OtherGuy. It seems I’m one of only four people who remembered her birthday without prompting Thursday. Sadly, she is neither related nor engaged to any of us. She’s really frustrated, asked me if she was expecting too much. I told her she wasn’t.

I’m a little pissed at him myself. Earlier in the week he asked if he could take D & B to Wal-Mart and help them get her something for her birthday. She was soooo stoked! of course she said yes. She told me no one has ever done that for her before. Of course that never happened, so she’s dissapointed and pissed now.

The kids just finshed spring break and they were on a trip all week. Since they were staying in a hotel at the time I can understand Critter’s reluctance to let them go skinny dipping in the pool () and I no longer consider them deprived. At least for now.

Paid the folks whose mailbox I creamed today so that’s taken care of, cool.

I’m bored. And out of body wash and sugar and kool-aid. I really don’t want to go back into town for that stuff. Twenty mile round trip and all. And the whole putting clothes on thing. Not sure which is the bigger hassle at this point as tired as I am.

I’ve got most of my plants out on the porch now. The freezes should be behind us now and they’ll do better with more light and moister air (it’s really dry in my place). I just have to remember to mist the ferns when I get home every day. I hope they come back, they’ve had it a bit rough lately. The last time I took them out they got blown out of their pots and they’ve been a little sickly since. I’ m still trying to save the plant I got in the hospital three years ago, but I’m not sure it’s going to work. I’ve repotted it in MiracleGro dirt and when I water I add MiracleGro plant food as well.
