My truck is fixed!

A friend from work, Carla actually, hooked me up with a mechanic over in the town where my store is and he cut me a really good deal. Got me a remanufactured alternator and his labor rates are less than the Ford dealer’s so instead of $400 it ran me right at $250. Cool!

Thunderstorms most of the day today, but that’s ok.

Wished Critter a happy birthday yesterday. She finally sent me a text back around 20:30 or 21:00 saying thanks and she’d talk to me later because she was taking the kids swimming. Since there are quite a few lakes up here and there was a beautiful full moon hanging in the sky I jokingly asked if they were going skinny dipping or was she going to make them wear suits. Of course she made them wear suits. Those kids are growing up deprived I tell you…
