Update

I thought about updating several times yesterday, but I never quite got up the energy. Now I can’t remember what it was that I wanted to say.

I’m going to go into town and buy some more socks and another shirt today. That way I can hold off on doing whites until I get my dryer next week. The old dryer, the one that was here when I got here, is *still* sitting on my front deck. It’s been since right before Christmas as you may recall. I wonder if he’d get pissed if I just dropped it off at the recycle place? Probably. I’ll just move it over to the side of the house and hope no one tries to drive through there without looking. See, the "driveway" actually runs all the way around the house but when both my unit and the unit above me are occupied the cars that park there block the side drive anyway. But my upstairs neighbor has been spending a lot of time elsewhere lately.

Just saw a commercial about SAMe, was interested, did some research and I’m gonna skip it. People that have mood disorders should not take SAMe. Also, some of the possible side effects are mania, hypermania, and hyperactivity. Probably not worth risking for someone who is being medicated for both depression and ADHD. Besides, I think I’m doing ok, all things considered.

And now my TiVo is resetting itself during live TV, WTF? I use it as my cable box because the tuner on my television doesn’t get some of the higher cable channels that weren’t in use during the late eighties. LIke anything between cable channel 75 and 98. Since my cable provider runs their basic service all the way up to channel 99, I can’t get the stuff in that band without an external tuner. I get 98 and 99, but those are VH1 and MTV and I don’t watch those channels. Not anymore anyway.

I didn’t know that the Wii kept track of everything you did. I guess that’s ok. Not sure I need to know how much time I spent checking the weather and the news but whatever. As long as those notes aren’t using a lot of space on the hard drive that I’ll be needing for game data.

Haven’t touched the PS/3 in months. I really want to get Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, but I don’t know if I want to get it for the PS/2 or PS/3. The PS/3 version is twenty dollars more than the PS/2 version. Not sure if it’s worth it. I’m thinking I’m gonna buy another Wiimote and a Rumbleshock 3 controller so I have the option of playing two-player games with guests on all three consoles.

And what the hell? I could have sworn Critter’s Wii had an optical audio output, but mine doesn’t and there’s no mention of it in my owner’s manual either. I’ve got to check on that. I’ll have to actually go over there since, bless her, she wouldn’t know an optical audio output from a joystick port.
