Real Entry
Ok, when you fall asleep and wake up to:
Your Adventure Has Ended
(X Load Game O Exit to Menu)
you know you’ve been playing too long.
Thursday was the normal hang with Critter day with the small (but maybe important?) difference that she called me to see what was going on as opposed to me calling her which is the normal routine. We ate at Taco Bell, and K had a cheese roll-up thingy, which she really seemed to like. We did some running around after. We went to the Wal-Mart for some shopping and she had to drop something off at the DHR office about child support. We went to get D & B from school since they had a dentist appointment and didn’t have time to ride the bus home. B has to see an orthodontist for a gap in her teeth (along the sides, not up front) and D just needs to brush better. No cavities for either of them though, so yay!
My parents sent me some money to UPS their mail to them, and of course they sent too much. I called Critter to see if she wanted to go to our normal restaurant today since I had extra money, and she said sure. Lunch was good. She said she might be coming over late tonight (Friday night into Saturday morning) but so far no word and since she has to work tomorrow I’m thinking she’s not going to be here. I’ve changed the sheets on the bed just in case though. If she does come over she may want to stay the night like she did last time. I kind of hope she does, I slept better that night than I have in a long time, and she said she slept really well too. For those of you who don’t already know the story and didn’t follow the hyperlink back, it’s not what you’re thinking, trust me.
She cut the grass again today at her place and had some problems with the lawn mower I loaned her and her weed eater. I’m thinking she got some bad gas, but that’s just me. The gas was about five days old, but it should have still been fine. I’ll try to get the lawn mower started next time I’m over there. I’ll also get some premium gas on the way to add to whatever’s left in the tank of the old stuff and maybe they’ll even each other out enough so that it’ll run but not blow up.
K had an accident today, but it really wasn’t her fault: she was wearing an outfit that she couldn’t get out of and couldn’t get Critter’s attention over the noise of the lawn mower. Other than that she’s been doing really well. She’s not staying dry through the night all the time, but it’s still early in the process for that yet and she has always been a prodigious night time pee machine. We could put a brand new diaper on her and lay her down at night and then eight hours later the diaper weighed almost as much as she did, it was incredible.
Ember’s a little cranky this weekend since she asked for time off to go to DragonCon and bought tickets and everything and then didn’t get the time off. Stupid manager lady at her job.
I left Starshine out of her cage all day while I was out with Critter, and when I came home I couldn’t find her for almost an hour. She scared me to death. How would I explain to Ember that I’d lost her ferret? I still don’t know where the little bugger was hiding – she came up behind me and just looked at me like I was crazy for making all that noise. I’ve got to try to fence in an area of my living room before the next time. I don’t know how I’ll keep her from climbing out though.
Getting tired again. Night!
THIS is why I think you and Critter are destined to be together.
