Pizza Yummy!

The pharmacy did have my meds ready. I was amazed. The cashier asked if the amount sounded right and I told her yes, that was fine, I have a huge deductible. That I don’t mind. The pharmacist not filling the scrip because they don’t think my insurance information is correct I mind, especially when all they have to do is not give it to me and put it back in the bulk bottles to be dispensed again later or hold on to it while they verify my insurance when I come to pick it up. That was the drama last month that I never got around to explaining.

I took Critter and K out to the local pizza buffet to spend some time together. Critter wasn’t feeling very well and I had to do a little coaxing to get her out. K is now going pee pee AND poo poo in the potty, and while she has had a couple of accidents she is progressing very rapidly for someone that was in diapers just last week. Critter says she does a respectable job at cleaning up too, which I think is impressive for an almost three-year-old (she was born in ’05), but this is my first time through this so I don’t know. Critter said it went much faster with D & B but she used cloth diapers with them instead of disposables so I would imagine the discomfort of a wet or messy cloth diaper would speed the process considerably.

My new car seat got K’s approval, but Critter said I had the harness a smidge too tight so we adjusted it after we got K strapped in and now all is well with the back seat of my truck and she can finally snap the seat in the back of her car to the frame and stop using the seatbelts since everyone that K rides with regularly has their own car seat now. At least I think they do, her dad might not have one, come to think of it. I’m not really sure. Somehow it wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t, but again I’m not sure.

Critter had to go pick the older kids up from school so I came on home. She might call later, but no promises were made. The kids could ride the bus, but the county has fiddled the bus routes this year and instead of being at the start of the route (they were the next to last stop in the morning and the second stop in the afternoon, about a ten-minute ride each way) they are at the other end of it so the bus ride is now almost forty-five minutes on a good day, which is a little silly since they only live five miles from the school. It wouldn’t take much longer than that to walk it.

ryn: The Centro is the same. Funny how technology has come so far, but not quite all the way. This is the only site I’ve had trouble with, in a year of use…

that is how it was when i rode the bus. i would live near the school and always have the longest ride.

I doubt very seriously her “dad” has a car seat. I don’t even know the “man” and I think he’s something I would scrape off the bottom of my shoe. It’s so sweet that you bought one though.
