The Technology Gods are againt me

OK, did a little more digging and discovered DirecTV and TiVo have gone their separate ways and that box/service combo is no longer offered to new customers. And of course TiVo’s current batch of HD DVRs will not work with satellite so I’m pretty well screwed since the cable company up here only recently went digital and probably thinks HD is just a fad.

I’m gonna have to move so I can let my geekdom flourish. I wonder if I can get a job making enough money to take Ember and Critter and the kids with me? It’s hard making new friends you see… 🙂
