Alone again

Critter and the kids just left. The kids were getting hungry and I didn’t have anything suitable for us to eat as a group so Critter went ahead and took them back home. So Critter and I spent most of the day together today, and we might meet up tomorrow to hang out some more.

There was a serious power outage today while we were gone: both my UPS’s were completely drained. The computer had turned itself off as instructed, but I hope the TiVo wasn’t supposed to be recording anything for me. For some reason the UPS for the entertainment center has to be manually turned back on if it dies completely, not sure what that’s all about but it is an older model.

I’ve got to call to schedule an appointment with my eye doctor tomorrow. I hope can get in sometime in the next two weeks.

I hate to do it but I think I have to head in to town to get something to eat. Nothing I’ve got here sounds very good right now, but I don’t know if I’m hungry enough to drive twenty miles round trip to get it.

I’m supposed to get some news tomorrow that will greatly affect my future; I hope it’s the news I want to hear.
