Rain!

We got some much-needed rain today. That would be a really good thing if my window had been fixed already; I’ve got a really wet seat now. I can’t figure out how the interior trim on my driver’s side door is attached. I can’t find any screws or anything. I’ve tried gently prying it off in case it’s just snapped on, but that didn’t work either. Maybe Ford used a permanent sticking charm on it…

It’s a 1999 Expedition if anyone has any insights.

Critter’s supposed to be coming over tomorrow, and I need to find out when so I can make sure I’m here. I need to run into town for a few things and I don’t want to miss her because I really do want to talk.

My apartment has really crappy power. I’ve got to buy at least one more UPS for the entertainment center (everything except the TV) and three or four filters for everything that’s hardy enough to tolerate multiple power failures in a short amount of time. The power will occasionally just fail for several minutes, come back on for a few seconds, and fail again. Repeat three or four times and there you go. When it’s on it seems steady but I do worry about spikes and what-not frying my ‘puters or (even worse) the TiVo, hence the need for the filters. I’m probably going to go with TrippLite: expensive, but the I/S guys at one of my old jobs swore there was nothing better on the market for the price.

The frakking power just did it again! Now I’ve got to wait for the whole bloody be damned network to come back up so I can post. GRRRRRRRRR!
