Public Nudity

OK, the promised rant on nudity has arrived!

This past Tuesday was a beautiful morning, well for me it was. There was a nice breeze blowing it was raining just hard enough to be heard, and my windows were wide open. It was perfect day to spend the morning in bed with my girlfriend (which I don’t have at the moment) or to relax and read. Maybe even watch television. Only trouble with that is I like to relax nude, and I can’t do that with the windows open since I don’t live in a clothing optional resort. I could have closed the windows but that would have killed the breeze and shut out the rain, making it not nearly as relaxing. So I put clothes on. I really need a house to live in. A nice three bedroom set back from the road and the neighbors. It’s not that I care who sees me nude, because I don’t, but I don’t want to force my nudity on my neighbors.

What would really be nice would be to find a clothing optional community I could move to and still be close to work, or even a clothing optional community that has someplace I can work.

Most of my friends know I’m a nudist so that wouldn’t really be a problem. The ones that visit me now would still visit and the ones that aren’t quite comfortable with it don’t come over much anyway.

I really wish everyone wasn’t so hung up on this kind of thing. It’s really comfortable and relaxing, and I haven’t ever gotten inappropriately excited. I’m really surprised more people aren’t nudists. It’s probably a societal thing. I was going to go to a clothing optional resort this summer, but I wanted Critter to go with me (it’s supposed to be a little easier that way the first time) and by the time my vacation rolled around we were living together and there was no one to watch the kids so I cancelled the trip. She didn’t want to take the kids and I understand why but I think she’d have changed her mind once we got there; the resort I picked has a high proportion of young families that are regulars during the summer so there would have been kids and teenagers there too so Critter could see they weren’t warped or damaged or anything by seeing other people (or, heaven forbid, their own parents) nude.

I’m including a few links at the end of this for those that are curious. I’m glad to answer any questions anyone may have, but uninformed comments on the perversity of shared non-sexual nudity will be deleted.
