Sometimes I hate my job

I’m pretty sure I have to fire someone tomorrow. I really don’t want to, but what he did is really unforgivable, and calls into question both his honesty and trustworthiness. My manager wants me to consult with the HR and Security before I do it though, just to make sure it won’t come back and bite me (or his career) in the ass.

There’s an hourly manager involved too, but I really don’t think he knew what was going on. He’ll probably be getting a reprimand, but he gets to keep his job. If I can get away without the reprimand and just have a good screaming session I will. I remember not too long when I was an hourly manager in the same position of doing something routine but stupid for an hourly I trusted.
