Not stoned update. :-)

Ok, not so stoned now. Sorry about that. Amanda S. had a bit of a crisis last night: it seems she and her boyfriend of four years may have broken up. She spent the first part of the night crying in my arms and then the second part of the night sleeping on my couch. She was in really bad shape. I saw the two of them together today in the store, but they didn’t look “right”. It seemed there might still be something going on even if they haven’t broken up.

I’m starting to wonder if this is the right guy for her (I used to think they would end up married) but I hate to see her like that, so I hope they either a) made a clean break of it so she can move on or b) fixed things and got back together.

This is the guy she lost her virginity to, and that was a really big honking deal for her. She was going to wait until she was married, but she thought he was “the one” and they’d been dating steadily for three years at that point so she figured what the hell. She was twenty when she gave it up. Most people around here have at least one kid (if not two or three) by that age. She was freaking out a little bit about that last night, and I told her she didn’t do anything wrong. I had to keep telling her that, and I think I may have gotten through, but I’m not sure. I was expecting her back tonight, but she hasn’t shown yet and it’s 01:40. I left the door unlocked and the lights on downstairs just in case, but I’m going to go to bed now. Even though I’ve been peacefully drugged unconscious for the past six or so hours I’m still tired.

My eye hurts again, but I don’t know if I want to take another pill just yet. I have to go see my eye doctor tomorrow. She’s a hottie. I mean really, really hot.

I like going to the eye doctor.
