Rainy Sleepy Day

Dinner was good, even if Meg and Nay were almost an hour late. That wouldn’t bug me so much if I hadn’t been at the store to pick them up and waiting on them. I mean really, yes, Nay was working, but Meg was sitting there for nine hours not doing a damn thing except waiting for Nay to get off work. Would it have been inconceiveable for her to start shopping, oh about an hour before he got off? Whatever. I think it’s more of the two of them just not understanding that their actions have consequences and actually DO affect others. So while I was waiting in the parking lot for them, everyone else was waiting at Ember’s house wondering where we were.

Got my letter off to Sammie, just normal update stuff. I keep them short because Ember writes him every day, and she’s more important.

Today was a nice sleepy day. I finished my laundry and took lots of naps. I read some too. It rained pretty much all day, which was fun for me. Not so much fun for Ember, because she was out in it all day. She’s really tired right now. I spent about twenty or so minutes over there to see how she was doing and then came home. Then I had to go back because I forgot my cell phone. But now I’m at home and she’s playing video games even though she should be sleeping, but she’s got sense enough to go to bed when she gets really tired.

I’ve got something in my eye that I can’t flush out. If it’s still there in the morning I may have to see the optometrist and I really don’t have the money for that.

Gonna watch some TV now and then go to bed. I’m a little hungry but I don’t have anything in the house to eat and I really don’t want to go anywhere.

The tree is still up, but I’ll get to it this week sometime.
