Laundry and Tree Lighting

Just got back from doing the laundry and checking the mail. That’s about the extent of the excitement so far today. I  had my parents pick up some stuff for me when they went to the nearest warehouse club so I picked that stuff up too.

Supposed to go to the tree lighting at the local bank with Ember and Sammier later today, but I don’t know if they’ll actually be going. I don’t know if Ember’s up to being out in the cold for four hours. It’s warmed up into the fifties but the wind is blowing pretty hard. Since the event doesn’t start until 17:00 it’ll be well past sunset when the tree is actually lit and temps around here drop pretty quick once the sun goes down. At any rate, I’ll still be going unless they want to actually go somewhere else and do something, but I don’t want to miss this just to watch DVD’s even though I am a self-proclaimed buddy time slut. It’s only a five-minute walk, so I can always get back pretty quickly if I get bored.

OK, we all know if she asks me to skip it I will, but I had to say that. I’ve got my pride you know.
