Why all the drama?

For the third week in a row there’s drama over my expense check. It’s been written, it’s sitting in the desk, but the person who has to counter-sign it has gone home for the day. When the project people asked me if I was going hungry for lunch I said “yeah” and they said, “OK” and that was the end of it. So I have no money for lunch or dinner, and probably not for breakfast tomorrow. Jerks. It’d be different if my last paycheck had not been $300 dollars short because they screwed up.
