Came out of nowhere

I will have to write about my Craigslist adventures another time, as its been quite hilarious since I posted on 10/16

As I told my dear reader (and amazing diarist) Charmingly Neurotic, most men are older (in their late 40’s) and very needy. Also, a lot are in ‘bad marriages’, separated or in the throes of a divorce (all uninteresting to me for a variety of reasons)
 
I wanted to get all of this on paper before it is, like the others (which I hope its not), just a glimmer of a fond memory
 
While in the middle of my CL posting response madness, I noticed that I had a flirt on this program called Zoosk. I get it through Facebook, and I wasn’t sure if it was a stand alone program, apparently it is.
 
It’s a singles site that people can check you out and send you a flirt, or let you know that you are interested in them, pretty standard stuff
 
I got a flirt from this guy last week, and I responded back. I had no idea that guys had to pay to chat, so I just sent a nice response back and thought nothing of it…other than it would have been nice to hear from him, Big Man we’ll call him, because he’s well, a big guy and I think we have a lot in common.
 
So when I got another flirt from him yesterday I was like what the heck? So I ‘flirted’ back and he responded with ‘having to pay’…so now I know
 
We exchanged email addresses last night, and well, its been quite the whirlwind of communication ever since.
 
First we talked on the phone briefly, then we started up with the texting. He wasn’t feeling well last night, so he was dozing off and on, and I had thought he was gone for the night. 
 
Then, just as I was about to fall asleep, my loud ass cell phone went off and it was him, at 11:17
 
He hung up and I dialed right back
 
“So is this the make me feel guilty for calling you and waking you up call?” he asked
 
I laughed and said, yes, you woke me up, and its ok, are you ok?
 
I curled up in bed and talked some more. I told him being awoken in the middle of the night was much better by him rolling over and grabbing me, and he said we’ll have to work on that and long into the night we texted each other, to me falling asleep with the phone in my hand
 
My last text to him was, at 2:20am, Go to sleep, I will be here in the morning
 
We’ve been texting all day, he’s ridiculous, and funny and more than a bit naughty and I love all the great conversations. He makes me laugh, smile and just be myself for a change.
 
He wants to get together, like immediately, and explains he’d like a little more hands-on approach…I said, oh, a handshake and a hug? You can get an idea of how our conversations evolve
 
One text conversation:
 
Katt: I don’t want to bother you at work, let me know and I will stop texting you (he’s a teacher)
BigMan: You’re only bothering me if you say no
Katt: Like I could resist you
BigMan: Good answer
Katt: Hot for teacher, what can I say
BigMan: I like your style
 
There were a lot of guys that I would have loved to have met through my CL posting, however they never got around to responding to me…there are some that I may actually meet because they sound really interesting and we’ve continued to have email and some phone conversations
 
I think though, and this isn’t putting all my eggs in that basket, that I may have been found by someone and I won’t have to look any further…
 
Its definitely nice to have options, that’s for sure!
