Apparently things aren’t going so hot here at the old job site

I had read on an email that was left on the printer by the idiot VP of HR that they were considering a pay cut for employees, and it was a discussion on how they were going to do that in the UK, etc.

Little did I know when I took the day off yesterday that all the crap would hit the fan

We were sent an email from the traveling CEO (how convenient that he is gone while the company falls apart) that we’re to cut costs, spend less, have big purchases approved, etc.

What I didn’t realize until some really annoying engineer was talking to ASD in the kitchen, was the salaried folk were taking a 10% cut in pay.  As if that’s something that should be discussed in the open kitchen

Who’s glad that she went from exempt to non-exempt now?
