Good times

I went back to talk with Rhea my work daughter about my ridiculously surreal interview last night (more on that later)

She was of course busy with receiving items (she works in Shipping) and unpacking things and I had to move around as she moved here and there

I noticed a pallet jack there and I couldn’t resist

As she looked at me like I was on drugs (I AM wearing a long skirt and dress shoes) I used the pallet jack as a scooter around the shipping and receiving bay

Don’t make me get all mom on you now, Katt!

I just laughed and scooted my way around the bay, being mouthy about my mad pallet jack skills

Back in the day (which was a Wednesday, in case you didn’t know that) when I was in the Marine Corps, I worked with ammunition.  We moved pallets with a pallet jack and you could easily find several of us racing up and down the bunkers of ammo on these pallet jacks, crashing into pallets of bullets or grenades, crashing into one another

Your tax dollars at work, yes indeedy

Riding around the shipping bay today reminded me of those good times in the Marines, and it reminded me that life isn’t so serious all the time
