 My head is up in the clouds

Soaring high above the sky

it doesn’t want to come back down

don’t wanna feel the pain and sadness of this world

is their no fairness?

I want to find that one person 

that will open my eyes to all the goodness of this place

making me forget all the heartache I’ve witnessed                                                                                

showing me all the wonders of love                                                                                                    

that will take me for who I am                                                                                                          

not trying to change me
