quickie

Things are going well. Just wanted to pop in and say that I’m still alive. My in-laws are in town from England, and it’s been a blast having them around. I’m very happy to have such amazing in-laws, because I know it’s probably not a common thing. We are headed to San Antonio this weekend to visit Sea World and the riverwalk. Should be good times. My mom took them around and showed them some houses that they could afford out here and I thought for a moment they would drop everything and buy one. Gotta love living cheap in America!

Our cat had an episode last Friday where she collapsed. I freaked out pretty badly. She came to after 15 seconds or so, but it was awful to see her pupils that large and her body lifeless. We drove her to the animal hospital, and they said it maybe had something to do with worms. Then we went to our vet the following day, did some bloodwork, and found that she had no bad viruses, but that it is probably a heart or neurological condition. Sad. Vet told me that if this were to happen again, that she would possibly die. This was horrible news to take in, and so every time I see my cat, I say goodbye to her like it’s the last time I’ll see her. I pray that she doesn’t have another episode like this again. It was so scary to see her like that.

Everything else is going fine. Same old, same old. By eating healthy at school, I’ve now lost a total of 6 pounds. I know this is thrilling news to you guys. I’m boring!

Alright, gotta go. We get our couch delivered today and I’m thrilled!!
