Woo!

Just for the sake of documentation… today I went to the gym and I was in a pretty big funk. Just frustrated with some things going on in my life at the moment. I took all that frustration, turned it into anger, channelled it into my lifting and beat a personal best that I’ve been chasing for over half a year… by twenty pounds! I wasn’t even expecting to match it, let alone beat it by 20 pounds. I mean I haven’t seen any all-time personal records from me in a long time.

This might be what it takes to rekindle my passion for it. The reward makes me want to try harder, by trying harder I get more rewards, etc. Another promising step in the right direction!

Oh yeah forgot to mention that’s up to 365, my goal is 495, I’ll be happy with 495.
