Don’t forget to breathe

I don’t know why, year after year, I keep doing the same things that I say I’m not going to do anymore…overwork, overstress, errg.

We had both our office Christmas parties this weekend, Mr M’s on Saturday night, mine last night, two hockey games, one at home one 150 miles away.  Friday night we went to a birthday party for one of our friends who turned 50.  Saturday, I took JD shopping, she had not gotten anyone anything and was beginning to panic.  Well we come up with an idea to make her sister something for Christmas, so she has been busy building, painting and such.  DJ & I made fudge, I got the Christmas cards done and will mail them today.

We are busy at work getting year end invetory updated, purchasing new equipment, tomorrow is our annual open house, so invitations had to go out last week, then we will need to do our annual christmas greeting mailing to clients who live out of the area.  The letter is almost ready to go, it is just a matter of printing, folding, stuffing and sending.

DJ’s school band concert was Tuesday last week, then that night was her voice recital.  JD’s band concert is tomorrow night.  DJ has will sing at church twice on Sunday.  At 9:00 they will do the Christmas cantata, then the choir is singing at the 5:00 service.

JD has chosen to go to Italy this year for Christmas Eve dinner, which means spaghetti.  That will be good.

I suppose things will settle down around Wednesday, and I can enjoy the weekend.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

We got your card yesterday, and really enjoyed it along with all of the photos…you are so busy, do you ever take time for just you and M??? Those girls got you running 100mph…but enjoy it while you can because sooner than you think, they’ll be on their own.
