Northern Lights

With recent sun activity, the northern lights have been entertaining us quite frequently this month.

Last night as I drove home after work and workout, I was dazzled. 

I was listening to classical christmas music on the radio, the choir was singing in Italian about the coming of the baby Jesus, and the lights were so close you could nearly touch them. 

They were displaying colors of red, violet, green and white.  There was a large arch of light in the NE corner of the dark MT sky, and the lights waved and danced up and down the arch. 

To the NW the lights ran horizontal and shot across the sky.  It was beautiful.
