Ice Anyone
It is official. There is ice on the hockey rink floor. The compressor started easily on the third try and has been humming along since.
The girls are very excited. They will have 9 or 10 home games this year. I think I heard there are over 50 home games scheduled between all of the teams. The first ones beginning in early December.
Things have quieted down some for MR M and that whole mess. Many of the parents have approached him and given him support, stating "I had nothing to do with this" Although it is too late for him as a coach ( I don’t think he will ever coach again) it does make him feel better.
Had parent teacher conference this week, they went well. It’s always good to visit with the girls’ teachers and get feed back as well as give them information. Sometimes I think teachers tend to compartmentalize and need to be led "out of their boxes" so to speak. Both girls are doing really well in school. JD is still on the JR honor society.
Tomorrow my "cheeks" turns 14. She is about to drive me batty. I know when I was a kid I was excited about birthday’s, but not anymore.
I guess MR M and DJ are going off somewhere to play hockey tomorrow night, so I told JD I would bring her to town and take her out for her birthday supper. Maybe I should rent a movie for us to watch. any ideas?
Went to ND last weekend. We had a great time. The girls and I went to church Sunday morning and got to visit with a bunch of people. We may be going back over for Thanksgiving. MR M is dragging his feet on that one, but I think between the three of us girls we can "pursuade" him.
Your bro is going to be in ND for Thanksgiving…hope you run into him. Don’t know what we’re doing.

Wow! nine or ten times you won’t have to drive 100 or more miles for a game! Cool—might even be cold (?)

Poor M….he is definately outnumbered in your household…how can he resist, when the three of you gang up on him???
