The Simple Truth

Okay, so I really need to be writing a paper for my International Business class right now…but real I quick I just need to throw this out there…

 

Jesus loves you!

 

Really… I’m not trying to be all corny here; I am completely and totally, 100% serious.

Jesus saved my life again the other night.  He has to do that every few years or so when I stumble and get lost.  This time he did it through Louie Giglio (I highly recommend his talks, some of which can be found here: http://www.268generation.com/2.0/splash4.htm, under Delve).

In any case, I really hope that today you get to see the awesomeness of our God.

Check out this little bit of scripture, "We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much that he made us alive with Christ, and God’s wonderful kindness is what saves you" Ephesians 2:5 (Contemporary English Version).

Did you know that sin causes death?  We all think that sin causes bad things…and it might cause us to do bad things…but for ourselves, it causes death…spiritual, emotional, depressingly burdensome death.

But through Christ, God made us ALIVE!  Yeah, that’s right…I am alive… and you can be too!

The Grace of God is such a phenomenal gift.

I know that only one person reads this blog regularly and a couple people stop by when my post is recent or in a cool circle, but I’m beginning to reach out.  Besides, I know that one person has been searching for Grace for a while now, so maybe this will help.

I don’t have much to bring to the table, Lord, but here I am.  Use me,

I don’t mind being a fruitcake for Christ.  It would be quite the honor.
