I think I’ve figured it out.

I have been so bored with things as they are and so eager for the next part of my life to start that I have just been sort of sitting around waiting for it. I have been so busy with what other people are doing and trying to figure out how that affects my life that I haven’t been living. I really need to get up and move…see where life takes me. No day is guaranteed, but I have no reason to be in such a hurry. I need to get as much as I can out of the next year and a half then see what happens. I mean, I could end up in Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati, back in New York, Chicago, California, Greece, Uganda…who knows! Why should I waste time wondering? There’s little point to planning that far ahead. That’s not to say I have forgotten my grand plans to change the world, but I can figure out exactly how I am going to do that as I go along. There are so many places I could live and so many people I could meet…and maybe it will take another fifteen years to even start to understand it all, but I’ll get there. The biggest challenge I face is allowing myself to be free. I am just now realizing that being free does not require giving up, just giving over the control. It is truly an exciting prospect.
