The girls’ mom.

For those of you who don’t know, "the girls" are my cousins Leslie & Ali.  They live with me and my mom & Jim.  Jim is their uncle, so their not really my cousins, but it’s easier to say that then, my mom’s fiancé’s nieces.  Besides, they might as well be my sisters, seeing as how we live together.  Anyway, today, when I got home from school, Christy, who really is the girls’ sister, and Jennifer were here.  I was surprised, but I was happy to see them.  I could finally give Jennifer the candles she ordered from me.  Then I realized how down they all looked.  I knew something was wrong.  At this point they told me why they were here.  Katie, the girls’ mother, also passed away.  They had come over to help us tell them.  The girls weren’t home from school yet, but they would be soon.  It was a rather awkward wait.  None of us really had anything to say.  I was so hard telling them.  I couldn’t help but cry, seeing the hurt and confusion in their eyes.  It was all so unexpected.  She was sick, but not like that. She’d seen a doctor, was on medicine. There was no sign of trouble.  I can’t even imagine that feeling though, to lose your mother. Though I guess it’s a bit different for them.  They didn’t live with her.  Still though, they’ve lost both their parents.  They’re still in elementary school.  It’s just rough.  Well, if you can, keep all of this in your prayers.  Pray for Katie’s soul, Leslie, Ali, and Christy, Jim’s dad, Jim and all his siblings, and all friends and other relatives. Thanks.  I appreciate the thought.  God watch over us and protect us all.

Oh, also, keep Colleen in your prayers.  She went into the hospital today.  She really needs to find herself and God also.  So, pray for all of this.

Thanks again.

God Bless you all!
