Ain’t No Satisfaction

We people are just not satisfied,
With the person we are inside,
And even less with the world around us,
Making this life – somewhat a curse.

There’s no saying that there’s no need to change,
Even if you’d like yourself – remaining the same,
It’s just so negatif that we have to dislike the now,
In order to attempt to change it somehow.

Why not just love the one within you,
And try to positively improve yourself too?
Then we’d be happy with the ‘me’ today,
And even happier with the ‘me’ of tomorrow,
Minus all the depression, pain and sorrow.

Ah! In 6 days, well on the 27th Feb I’ll be leaving for Toowoomba!!! *grins*
I’m in Perth right now.
While I love my family and all, I’m here to get my education done, so I’m looking forward to returning to my lil University town.

I didn’t get to see Tbear at all through my visit back to Malaysia, something which I feel was both good and bad. Good because we didn’t have a chance to screw up forcing me to reconsider and totally abandon my resolve on not turning my back on those who are dear to me… And Bad because I miss the dude as a friend anyway. Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t stick to my guns so much about being born serious when it comes to relationships and being a conservative… I just don’t want to look back in regret and hate the both of us later. So I guess it’s better to be the way I am than to try and be someone I’m not, only to confirm that it would infact be the mistake that I knew it’d be.

Anyway, I’ve been having fun here in Perth. My nephews are real darlings and it’s fun hanging out with my cousin and aunts, though I must admit that sometimes I enjoy my aunties company more than my cousin because of conversational value. Somehow I have more to discuss with my cousin’s mom compared to my cousin. But we do get along well enough though. I find that for the most I do find it easier to talk to my elders compared to my own cousins… 🙂 Perhaps that’s why I’m more rooted in being a conservative, following their ways.

Coke in Australia taste different from that in Malaysia, especially coke in a can. Just thought I’d note that.

I have to join the gym and drop my tummy. It’s still swallon somewhat from the operation, so I have to work on getting that down coz it looks totally horrendeous on me!! Bah!

Ah well, we’re going for pizza tonight! YAY!! *grins* So I got to get ready,
