With all that was said in the end,
We still remain friends,
Its doesn’t matter anymore,
The past was so, so long ago…

And while I do miss him, he truly had to go,
And while I missed her, she had to grow up you know..

Now we’re different people,
Living different lives,
And within these lives we’ve settled,
Without each other, we thrive…

We weren’t meant to be together,
We were just meant to teach each other,
Lessons learnt through our laughter and tears,
Have now make us better people along the years.

We were never meant to be,
But we weren’t wrong at the time either,
Life has it’s reasons to happen you see,

Ah, my ex and I had a conversation.

So apparently my ex says I’ve got great boobs but have to tone/lose the ass. I said he has to lose the tummy coz people complained about that but said nothing about my ass. *grins*

Anyway, we sometimes stuble into weird conversations. Revisited why we broke up. Decided that we didn’t understand each other and that while we weren’t horrible together, it was a good thing tha we broke up. We just weren’t meant to remain a couple… I didn’t understand him, he said, and I guess I just don’t want to. I don’t want to understand something in a person that would cause him to turn his back, hurt and ignore the person he claims to love even while things were going great… So I said if I get together with anyone else in time, he just cannot do the stuff he did which pissed me off – regardless the reasoning…

Clearing the air was good I guess. I told him, "It’s been 9 years since we broke up. It doesn’t matter anymore. We’re different people and still friends." that’s all that matters to me and that he doesn’t get on my nerves. We were both at fault for our breakdown anyhow… And since it’s a non-issue anymore since we aren’t getting back together, revisiting was interesting, but rather pointless I guess… Nah, I didn’t wanna see him through his eyes.

Ah well, I told him about how I was molested and he understands why I get hostile about his sexual statements and stuff… So he said "In light of this you no longer have the privilage of dirty talk!" heheheh and I was like "Hey! I totally appreciate that!" *grins* See, we CAN get along.

So it’s been an interesting day. I think that things are looking up. Just one more friendship to save. 🙂
