back from GJ. although it snowed the night before (on the divide) the roads were drive and only saw a dusting of snow on the trees. the ground is still to warm and the snow has melted. Dad is officially 101. I talked to the social worker, and his doctor. the doctor is going to have someone come to house once a week to check his Med’s. the social worker is ok with that for now. I have stocked up his house, Wendy made him stew for freezer, and I bought lots of quick frozen dinners. Wendy also make him poppy seed biscuits from moms recipe.

back to work today, its election day here in the states; but I’m avoiding it. it seems all the politicians say the same thing, and then never come though with their promises. I’m disappointed in democratic, republican and yes the Tea party. they all sound the same and they are all calling others evil and bad. so I’m not voting this year. not that my vote ever meant anything anyway.

on the better side, Wendy came home with a kitten last week, a woman at work was giving them away. only 5 weeks and way to young to be away form their mom. but Wendy found the kitty supplement milk and food and coco is doing fine. He is all of 6 weeks now and into everything, the dogs have all accepted him, and Leo my big cat ( housecat but weights a lot) tolerates him. we looked his coloration up on line and found he is called a Snowshoe. Siamese type colors with white paws. it has been years since we had a kitty in the house, they are such a ball of energy, curiosity, and joy.

maybe I can get back into my routines now, no more traveling for awhile!
