Christopher and I had some Mommy/Son time :)

Christopher and I spent the day together yesterday because the teachers at his class thought maybe spending some one-on-one time with one of his parents might help him be less angry in class and at home. So Jimmy took Wesley, Amelia and Jocelyn to his parents’ house for the day and was only able to make one wreath because he had to keep checking on Jocelyn. Apparently his mom took off Jocelyn’s diaper to let her air out (she’s had some diaper rash)and laid her on the floor with no diaper on and was actually surprised when Jocelyn peed everywhere! Jimmy and I both wonder what she thought was going to happen when you leave a baby with no diaper on.

Christopher and I walked over to Fred Meyer’s and did some shopping. I got him a shirt and a pair of pants, two Hotwheels cars, two books, a coloring book, 3 Christmas ornaments (they all say Baby’s 1st Christmas – two are pink, one is blue. Blue = for my sister. Pink = one for us, one for Missa), we rented some video games at Hollywood Video and bought some movies there as well. We ate lunch at the deli in Fred Meyer’s – he had corndogs and I had chicken strips. We shared a root beer and I shared my jo-jos (potato wedges)with him, my biscuit and my chicken strips. He fell asleep in the stroller on the way home and woke up when I laid him on the couch. We went into the bedroom to watch some tv (the digital cable is messed up in the living room for some reason)and I read his books to him. Then we went into the office/library and played a couple games (I forgot I also got him two cd-rom games for kids (Caillou and Jay Jay the Jet Plane)and a Thomas the Tank Engine DVD)until Jimmy, Wesley, Amelia and Jocelyn came home. 🙂

Gotta go – Kids need lunch, Jocelyn’s fussy and I think Amelia’s getting into stuff.
