I was so livid this morning

So we’re making progress! I cranked up the Christmas tunage and got a lot of the cleaning finished today and yesterday, including almost all of the dishes!! WOOHOO!! That is SUCH a big deal, I can’t even tell you! I just kept thinking, "I REFUSE to go into the new year with dishes piled and hidden all around this place!!" Once everything is clean and put away I’m even considering getting us disposable, environment-friendly paper plates to use. At least until the new year. Yeah, okay, as I type that I realize how pathetic it sounds.

Next on the cleaning list: lug out the vacuum and do the area rug in the living room. I’m perplexed with this a bit because our black and brown carpet is covered with white cat hair. The vacuum hasn’t seemed to be pulling any of it up. It is embarassing the piss out of me. Definitely want that fixed before my friends come over for our girls night. Not exactly sure what else to do besides buy 40 lint rollers and get on my hands and knees though… Actually, I guess I may wait to vacuum until after we put the tree up since I’ll have to vacuum the needles.

I also have a bit of organizing to do in the bedroom, including sorting through the piles of clothes BF insists on throwing on the floor and surrounding objects. GAH! We definitely have to do laundry this weekend or early next week. This will be the 3rd or 4th time we’ve done laundry since we moved into this place in April. LOL Yup, we procrastinate with laundry too. Thankfully, we have a lot of clothes so when we’re running out we know we REALLY need to do laundry.
There are only two washing machines for this entire 3-floor building, neither of them are on our floor and both of them are waaaaaaaaaaaay at the other end of the building. It’s a pain in the a$$ to lug everything upstairs so I don’t mind taking everything to the laundromat once in a while, using like 10 washers at a time and getting everything done in an hour and a half. It’s awesome!! Didja know that, until we moved to this place, I had never EVER used a laundromat!! It was neat! LOL

We went to the bank to sign the final papers for our loan this morning, expecting payout tomorrow, precluding a $300+ loan payment to our OLD loan on Monday. Everything has already been approved or we wouldn’t be able to sign these papers. BUT the dimwit we’ve been dealing with at the bank tells us this morning that she needs 5 specific papers from my mom (co-signer) and 1 other paper from us before she can send it up to head office. WTF?? She tells us that if the papers aren’t received today (and this morning really) there is a good possibility the loan won’t be paid out tomorrow and that we’ll have to make a payment on our old loan on Monday. WTF?? This is bad because, thinking we were going to have the old loan paid off as of the 5th (new loan first payment on the 22nd), we didn’t budget for that payment at all. In fact, it looks like we’re going to be forced to get a cash advance in order to pay that dumb f*cking thing. A solution that is not such a huge deal now that I’ve calmed down a bit but just the fact that this is MAY even be necessary pisses me off.

So when we went in like 2 weeks ago to sign the stuff to apply for the loan, she told me about these 5 papers my mom needed to fax her "but I will talk to her tomorrow". I wrote them down and told my mom. When the girl called mom she never mentioned them. When the loan documents had been transferred up to Ottawa branch for my mom to sign, she went in, signed and was not asked for these papers there either! Over a week went by since then and the first time the bank girl mentions anything about the papers again is THE DAY BEFORE she has to send the final application in?????? W. T. F. ?????? (She *said* she left a message with my brother -who lives with my mom still- about the papers even though I told her not to do that for this very reason – WTF?????) This may not have been such a huge problem if my mom hadn’t been OUT OF TOWN today taking care of my aunt who has breast cancer. 

Also pissed because I could have brought the 1 document WE needed to give her if she had called to tell us the day before that she needed it. Instead, BF had to SNEAK the use of the fax machine at work to send it to her (in another town).

Boy was mom pissed when I told her all this… LOL But it ended up that she had brought the papers with her to my aunts because she had gone there after work with her briefcase so she took my SICK aunt to the store and faxed them to the stupid biotch.

So we MAY have a payout tomorrow, we may have it Monday. She wasn’t sure. If we have a payout tomorrow, we don’t need a cash advance. So that’s what I’m hoping for. SOB!!!

There has just been almost NO customer service from this chick. I wanted desperately to switch banks when we did this loan but they were the ones who could offer us the best rate (prime +3) so we couldn’t pass it up. You call and call and leave message after message but she NEVER calls you back. EVER. Okay, she did once. But c’mon. ONCE!! Even when you have important questions about insurance and stuff. I just don’t get it. Also, this bank has screwed up our payments and deferred payments more than once. And my mom got the bare minimum of customer service from her…  Just bad feelings overall.

And then there was the fight BF and I had over the whole thing. He said it was my mom’s fault for not just faxing them earlier. She didn’t even have the fax number!! ANYWAY. I was so livid this morning, I couldn’t speak for like 2 hours. It’s taken me this long to calm down! LOL

Okay, I’ve wasted enough time I guess. Time to go do up the shopping list for tomorrow, maybe hunt for some coupons…
