What I Like About My Friends

What do you like best about your friends?

One of the favorite parts of my life is my friends.  I am glad to have pals from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.  I don’t care what gender, race, cultures, majors, or social class they are from.  Whether they are ugly or good-looking doesn’t matter at all.  What’s important is they are the ones who care, understand, and allow me to be myself.  When I’m down they support and cheer me up.  We can talk about many things and have good times together.

There have been times when I got caught up in things and probably start taking my friends for granted, but soon I would recall how important they are.  For example, too many times I became too addicted to MBs that the members seemed more like friends.  However, after being attacked and treated unfairly, I would realize who my real friends are.  They are my real life friends whom I enjoy communicating and hanging out with.  I have some nice online friends, too, though much fewer than real life.  We never met, but communicate with e-mail.

I am glad most of us have e-mail.  With such busy lives, it seems to be the cheapest and most convenient way for me to stay in touch.  I also try to send them birthday and Christmas cards every year.
