The 2004 Presidential Election

I saw the documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11, by Michael Moore, and found it to be an anti-Bush campaign though I did find some of the material to be exaggerated. I do not like U.S. President George Bush, Jr., and didn’t vote for him in 2000. These years, I have found him stupid, and I am upset that he doesn’t care about our environment. Besides, I found many Bush supporters to be narrow-minded and domineering. George Bush, Sr. was a better president, and his son is just a "spoiled rich kid."

However, I was also worried about John Kerry. The past few months, people seemed to complain about him. That is why I had thought about sitting out on this election at first. However, I finally managed to drag myself to the polls.

The results reminded people how unfair life could be. Bush, Sr. was a better president, but only served four years. The poor economy caused people to sacpegoat him and elect Clinton. Now, Bush, Jr. will serve eight years.  He got lucky, because Kerry wasn’t a strong opponent. What worries me is that this "spoiled rich kid" will become a worse president since he can’t run again. That’s what Clinton did on his second term: the case with Lewinsky.

During the months before the election, there were funny webpages and animations on the campaign. Many had Bush and Kerry insulting each other, or being friends. I really liked the one on JibJab.
