Back home…

After six long days at the hospital, I’m back home and feeling better. Got discharged just after lunchtime Wednesday and I’m doing okay.

I’ve had my meds adjusted, and added a new one that has made a world of difference.

Feels weird to be home, but I’m back and I’ll have to make some changes to prevent this from happening again.

It was confirmed by the many tests I took that I did have a stroke, but a minor one. I am getting back the use 0f my right hand and will have to work on my typing skills to get them back to the level it was at before this happened.

At the moment I can’t handwrite anything. As a writer, that kills me. It will take a bit longer but I’ll try to repair that too.

My stay at the hospital had its up and downs, but I rolled with the punches.

I will write more about it later, so until then.. take care.

I am so glad that you are going to be okay. Ā Yes, itā€™s going to take time to recover. Ā It might be a bit hard because you are a writer. Ā I wonder, will you be attending physical therapy or receiving rehabilitation services?

May your recovery go well. PT can do wonders with regaining function.

not being able to handwrite would be very very difficult. I hope your hand mobility improves quickly for you.
