stuck to the couch
I’ve been sick for about a week now. I don’t think it’s anything serious, but I really would like to feel better. I’ve been lying on my couch since Tuesday, mostly watching tv, and I am getting ridiculously bored. (At least the writer’s strike is over and maybe we’ll get some new shows back?) I made Chris take me out for a short drive to see a house yesterday, then we went to dinner. Where I felt miserable. But at least I got out – I just felt like I needed to see the sunlight and get off this damned couch.
You know how much I hate exercising, and therefore rarely engage in physical activity, but I’m so sick of lying here I’m actually craving doing some kick-boxing or something. This is ridiculous!
The worst part is because I’ve done nothing for a week I have nothing to write about, so one of my favorite pastimes is a complete waste. And I’m getting fat again. One of the only things that makes me feel better is eating – usually things that are warm and/or soft and/or gooey. Mac & cheese, hot chocolate, muffins, fries… pretty much anything that is bad for me. AND since I really haven’t gotten off this couch for 5 days… well, you do the math.
Sigh. I really need to get some work done today to catch up, but I don’t feel like it at all.
(indecision)
I hope that you feel better soon! When I was sick (for nearly three months straight.) I had no appetite to speak of. So I ended up losing insane amounts of weight (unhealthy amounts), ultimatly feeling worse than I did before. *lot’s o hugs to get better soon.*

Hi, I saw your entry on the front page. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I know that the flu and other viruses have been going around. My husband keeps sneezing. Comfort food is some of the yummiest….but not good for the waist. **sigh**

it’s alright, i have a better opinion of korea once I get out and about to seoul and other places.
