Ok, so I apologize for having only written a couple of one-liners over the past couple days. Honestly, though, it’s been amazing to not even have to touch my laptop to get all the essentials done (like check email and stalk people on facebook).

Aside – what’s with the new “hi I’m open diary but I’m going to be as annoying as MS word and underline all your mis-spelled or mis-capitalized words with a red thingy”??

Anyway, I’m really enjoying my new iTouch. I was completely surprised to get it – my parents went nutso and decided on an “iPod Christmas.” They actually got 160gb ipods for Carrie & Jeff and 16gb iTouch’s for Chris and me. SERIOUSLY!??!?!? We all just about flipped out.

More importantly: 2 days and counting. 2 DAYS. We got the programs and placecards done last night, thank God. Today is laundry day, repacking day, call Marriott day, and then bachelorette party tonight. No clue what my sister has planned, because she won’t tell me anything! She told me at one point something in the early evening. To me early evening is like 7. Apparently to Care it’s like… 5pm. Anyway, that’s all I know. She hasn’t even given me a hint about what we’re doing or where we’re going.

I’m really nervous we’re forgetting something. Or will forget something. Or something we need for the honeymoon will get left behind, or something (like the cake) will go terribly wrong. (Our cake lady is kind of… flaky…) So I miscounted the # of guests we were going to have (counted the vendors twice, oops!) so the final count for just straight up guests is 87… out of the 165 people we invited. Wow! That’s a ton more than a third… that’s half. And poor Chris… only his immediate family, Grandmother, and two more adults are coming for him. The rest is either our combined friends, or my friends, or friends of my family. How sad is that? I don’t actually think he cares tremendously much… but at the same time that’s really really really shitty. I guess it’s pretty typical based on where he comes from, but still.

Ok, I need to get moving!!!
