Happy 4th of July
The family reunion has been wonderful, and might I just say that my 1-year-old second cousin is adorable? Yes, I like kids now… well, some anyway – and I’ve officially now picked up and held a baby, as well as have her sit on my lap for a looong time as we looked through her Winnie-the-Pooh book. She didn’t really care about having it read to her, she just kept flipping back and forth between all the cardboard pages, sometimes pointing at things and saying “bah bah bah.” 😉
The Atlanta cousins left this morning, then Care left for her apartment, and now I’m alone it Grandma’s house while she’s out playing 9-holes with the parents. Took me a good half an hour to figure out how to get the satellite tv working – oh well. Spent a good portion of the day fixing her computer – but there are some serious errors I can’t fix without the WindowsXP CD, which appears to be the only cd-rom she doesn’t have with the rest of them. Can’t find it – will have to wait until they return later. Bah! Family IT services… How may I help you?
I’m sad that Chris wasn’t able to come yesterday – I miss him! The family seemed to be sad that he couldn’t come too, which actually thrills me.
Alright, I’m going to go back to watching Jurassic Park which I haven’t seen in YEARS! Remember when those special effects were amazing?? I’m starting to feel old…
